Fees

In the interests of keeping psychology sessions accessible, my current fee for a standard consultation of 50 minutes is $255. This is significantly below the APS recommended fee ($318). Longer sessions are charged at a proportion of the same rate.

The Australian Psychological Society recommends that psychologists charge $318 per session.

Payment

Fees are payable on the day of your treatment session.

Medicare Rebates

If you have a mental health care plan from your GP or psychiatrist then you can claim a Medicare rebate of $145.25 for 10 sessions per calendar year.

From the 1st July 2026 this rebate will increase to $149.

I will email a receipt after your session. You can use the myGov app to upload receipts and submit claims.

Private Health Insurance

If you have psychology extras you will be eligible for a rebate, which varies according to your policy.

Cancellation Policy

Please give at least 24 hrs notice to change or cancel your appointment otherwise the full fee will be charged. It would be very helpful if you could give at least 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel.
